Why We Ask for Deposits
Only two years ago, we didn’t take deposits on any treatments. By the end of that year, our software kindly pointed out that we had lost £29,000 due to last-minute cancellations.
To put that in perspective, it costs just under £100,000 a year to run SKINLAB, wages, utilities, rent, insurance, and everything else. £29,000 would have made a huge difference.
That’s when we introduced deposits and our 48-hour cancellation policy, and honestly, it’s been a game-changer. Most of our customers are understanding and supportive, and we feel incredibly lucky about that. We truly believe that without this policy, SKINLAB might have struggled to continue growing and evolving.
We do occasionally encounter someone who’s unhappy about a deposit being kept. Please know it’s never personal, it simply helps us keep SKINLAB sustainable. It allows us to maintain a spotless, welcoming clinic and continue investing in new treatments and devices, something that would be much harder if we were still facing such significant losses.

Cancellation Policy
If you cancel outside of our 48-hour cancellation window, your deposit will be fully refunded.
If you cancel within 48 hours, the deposit will be retained.
Glow Club members
If you need to re-schedule outside of the 48 hour cancellation window, this is fine and we will accommodate that. If you cancel within 48 hours of your facial appointment, you can either pay 50% of the facial cost or choose to forfeit that facial within your Glow Club membership.
We always communicate this politely, never aggressively, because, as you know, we’re friendly as they come! But business is business 🥰
Botox Bookings
The 50% taken on booking is non refundable due to it being a prescription drug ordered in specifically for you.
