Profhilo Structura before & after
These pictures are taken before treatment and then 6 weeks after her 2nd Profhilo Structura, which resulted in plumped, hydrated skin, with some lift and contour to the lower face, as well as some tightening of the under chin/neck area.
When the picture on the right was taken, it was only 4 weeks after her 1st treatment of Profhilo Structura. You can see the improvement after just one treatment. You can see the lift and contour happening along the jawline, and the tightening underneath the chin/neck area.

Treatment time is just minutes. The treatment is generally well tolerated and most stated that it was not painful and that some pressure was left when placing the product using cannula.

As with any injectable, there is a small risk of minor bruising or swelling at the injection site, but these side effects are typically short-lived.
Sarah Diamond, SKINLAB’s nurse injector, has many years of injecting experience, both in her previous nursing role and her 8 years in aesthetic practice. She uses a specific needle called a nano-soft needle, which really reduces the risk of bruising.

Preparation

• No invasive facial treatments such as chemical peels, dermal filler or skin boosters
• No Laser Hair Removal/IPL treatments on the face

• Avoid alcohol due to increased risk of bruising

All make up will be removed prior to treatment, where possible please arrive at clinic make up free. For 24 hours prior to treatment, avoid alcohol, asprin, ibuprofen, St John’s Wort, fish oils, Gingko Biloba and vitamins C & E as they can contribute towards bruising.
The injections sting briefly, but on the whole this passes quickly. Following treatment you will notice raised area’s where the Profhilo has been injected. These usually go down in 6-24hrs. There have been reports that this has lasted 2-3 days for some patients.
Full aftercare instructions will be given to you on leaving clinic.
Aftercare

Immediately after treatment there may be slight redness, swelling, bruising and tenderness, itching sensation in the treated area.
These reactions are temporary and generally disappear in a few days. If it continues or if other reactions occur, please contact your practitioner at the clinic.
Avoid touching, manipulating or massaging the treatment area for 24 hours after the treatment. After that the area can be washed with a gentle cleanser and sterile make-up can be applied.
Until the initial swelling and redness have resolved, do not expose the treated area to intense heat (e.g, solarium and sunbathing) or extreme cold. Avoid strenuous exercise and swimming to avoid risk of infection

Avoid alcohol for 24hrs post treatment

Apply SPF 50 sunscreen.
