[Sarah's Clinical Corner] Frequently asked questions

Do I  need to change my skincare in Autumn/Winter?

Not necessarily your whole routine, but your skin may need a little adjustment.

As temperatures drop, humidity decreases and the central heating goes on, many people notice their skin becoming drier, tighter, more sensitive or more easily irritated.

This doesn’t mean you need to panic-buy an entirely new skincare routine! In fact, please don’t.

It might simply mean switching to a gentler cleanser, adding a little more hydration or changing your moisturiser to something more supportive of your skin barrier. And one thing that doesn’t disappear when summer ends? UV exposure. Your SPF is still an everyday essential, even when it’s grey, cold and miserable outside. The important thing is to treat the skin you actually have now, rather than continuing with products simply because they worked for you six months ago.

Not sure what your skin needs? Ask us. We’d much rather tweak a couple of products you already have than sell you a bathroom cabinet full of things you don’t need. 🤍

Here are some of our much loved products that are particularly good during Autumn/Winter.

Gentle Foaming Cleanser

A gentle but effective everyday cleanser that removes impurities without leaving the skin feeling stripped or tight, particularly important when colder weather and central heating are already challenging your skin barrier.

Ultimate Boost Serum

Think hydration boost. This lightweight serum helps increase hydration and improve the appearance of skin texture, leaving the skin feeling smoother, plumper and more comfortable through the colder months.

HydraRich

Our pick when your skin needs a little more TLC. This rich moisturiser provides intense hydration and nourishment, helping dry or dehydrated skin feel softer, more comfortable and better supported through autumn and winter.

The perfect cold-weather trio: cleanse, hydrate, nourish 🤍
