What is profhilo®?

A Skin Remodelling Treatment That Is Different To Dermal Filler.

Profhilo is an injectable skin booster treatment that helps improve the quality of your skin. It contains a high concentration of Hyaluronic Acid, which helps to stimulate the production of collagen and elastin. This in turn improves skin tone, hydration, and the appearance of fine lines. The result is improved skin quality that lasts 6 to 9 months.

  • Profhilo is a skin booster that is injected into the skin in a specific pattern, depending on which area of the body is being treated. Two treatments are required four weeks apart. Occasionally a third treatment will be recommended, this is dependent on your skin quality on assessment.

Results aren’t usually seen until 6-8 weeks post first treatment.

  • Profhilo’s main use is to treat skin laxity and to improve skin quality. Common treatment areas include:

    • Face

    • Neck

    • Decolletage

    • Hands

    • Upper arms

    • Above knees

You can expect an overall improvement in skin hydration, radiance, smoothness and firmness.

  • Profhilo® can be for everyone but is mostly recommended for adults who feel their skin has begun to sag, as well as lose overall volume and fullness.

Profhilo® can be used to refresh and rejuvenate skin.

Profhilo® is not suitable for those who are wanting to replace lost volume in specific parts of their face, or those who want to alter the shape of their face or features.

  • While both injectable skin booster use the same component, hyaluronic acid, Profhilo and Dermal Filler work very differently.

Dermal filler is injected to enhance a specific area such as the lips and cheeks, and it does not typically migrate to the surrounding skin. In this way, it augments your natural facial structure to produce more angular cheekbones or plumper lips.

Profhilo works very differently because it is made of 100% hyaluronic acid, while dermal fillers have other components. Profhilo is made of a completely natural skin substance, it blends into the skin seamlessly and distributes itself evenly. The treatment also helps to retain moisture levels in the skin while boosting the production of collagen and elastin, both essential skin proteins, which help refresh the skin from the inside out.

Profhilo vs Botox Treatment for skin rejuvenation

profhilo® vs botox®

Profhilo offers a unique & distinctive approach to skin rejuvenation. While Botox is renowned for its wrinkle-reducing capabilities and fillers are sought-after for volume enhancement, Profhilo focuses on overall skin health. Its high concentration of Hyaluronic Acid activates the skin’s natural regenerative processes, improving hydration, elasticity, and stimulating collagen and elastin production. This leads to a more comprehensive enhancement in skin tone and texture.

profhilo® vs microneedling

Microneedling is effective in stimulating skin repair. This technology creates controlled trauma, which triggers the body’s healing response, which in turn, increases the production of collagen and elastin. However, Profhilo takes a step further by deeply nourishing the skin from within, offering a holistic improvement in skin quality. This makes Profhilo a standout choice for those seeking an all-encompassing treatment for radiant, youthful-looking skin.
